7th annual International Digital Emmy® Awards at MIPTV

Recognising excellence in multiplatform content

For the seventh year at MIPTV, the International Academy of Television Arts & Sciences recognises global excellence in content created and designed for viewer interaction and/or delivery on a digital platform (i.e. mobile, internet, interactive TV, etc.).

Eligible submissions have been created and initially broadcast outside of the United States.

The nominees will be announced mid-February 2012. Three Emmy® Awards will be presented at a ceremony, during MIPTV’s Opening Party, on 1 April.

    Dance franchise creator Jon M. Chu, recipient of the Pioneer Prize

    In recognition of the global success of the web series “The Legion of Extraordinary Dancers”, and his contributions to the field of digital entertainment, American film director and screenwriter Jon M. Chu received the Pioneer Prize at the International Digital Emmy® Awards at MIPTV 2011.
