Nice Côte d’Azur International Airport (NCE) is France's leading airport outside Paris, offering direct flights to many cities around the world. It is located 24km (15 miles) southeast of Cannes, 30-45 minutes by car or 50 minutes by bus from the city centre.

Airport transfer transportation

Bus

Bus 210 (Rapides Côte d’Azur - RCA) is an express line from Nice Côte d’Azur International Airport to the Cannes bus station via Le Cannet. Buses run every 30 minutes and the trip takes 50 minutes.

  • One-way ticket: €15.60
  • Return ticket: €25.50

  • Terminal 1: gate A0, platform 3
  • Terminal 2: between gates A1 and A2, platform 3

Taxi

Taxis are available at the Nice Côte d’Azur International Airport:

  • Terminal 1: gate A1
  • Terminal 2: gate A3

Average fares to:

  • Cannes: €70
  • Antibes: €42

If you believe you have been overcharged for your taxi ride from Nice to Cannes, please send a copy of your receipt and the vehicle registration number to our customer service helpdesk.

Helicopter

Azur Hélicoptère operates regular 6-minute flights between Nice Côte d’Azur International Airport and Cannes. A free shuttle takes you from the Cannes heliport to your destination. MIPCOM participants benefit from 10% off regular rates.

Train

To get to the Nice Saint Augustin train station, go to terminal 1, gate 6, and catch bus 23, direction Vallon des Fleurs (€1). Get off at Gare SNCF Saint Augustin (second stop) and walk to the station.

Cannes city transport

Free shuttle service

We offer a free shuttle service for MIPCOM participants staying in hotels outside Cannes. Schedules are available online and in MIPCOM partner hotels and the Registration Hall.

A local bus network services Cannes and the surrounding area. A one-way ticket is €1.

Taxis

To prevent overcharging, pick up an ‘Allo Taxi’ coupon with the approximate price of your trip from the concierge service in the Palais des Festivals.

Car parks

A number of covered public car parks are located within walking distance of the Palais des Festivals. Payment requires a magnetic card, available at the Tourism Office at the Palais des Festivals. If you choose to reserve a space, Reed MIDEM strongly advises you to do so well in advance of the market.
