The 8th Annual Licensing Challenge

The annual Licensing Challenge is a competition seeking the hottest kids’ properties with greatest licensing and merchandising potential.

German company, m4e/Telescreen won this 8th Licensing Challenge with "Mia and me" facing a strong competition from Guru Animation Studio, Luke Nola & Friends, Millimages, VOOZ Co and Imira Entertainment.

    • Justin Time (3-6 years)

Now screened in over 21 countries including a format sale to the BBC in the UK, this inspiring series is here to trigger young imaginations to produce astounding inventions in your territory. Kids from the audience with captivating ideas are selected and mentored by Series ‘Build Buddy ‘ and workshop guru ‘Mr. Metal’. Each week an aspiring inventor realizes their dream assisted by top scientists and engineers. Audiences are enthralled seeing the creations from inside the heads of kids come to life. Kids are hands-on building, culminating in the first test drive their invention. Often crazy, always entertaining, funny and sometimes practical as over 10 kids have also received patents for their ideas by appearing on this show. Audience is engaged to learn about science and technology by having fun.       Plunged into a fantastic fairy tale turned real, Mia must find the strength within herself to save a race of unicorns — and an entire world.
      Mia used to read about the land of Centopia in an ancient book of myths. Now, thanks to a high-tech portal designed by her father, she finds herself hurled into this wondrous world of elves, unicorns, pans and dragons.
      But the once idyllic kingdom is embroiled in conflict. The evil Queen Panthea seeks to capture the unicorns and harness their power to keep herself young. The valiant elves, led by the noble Prince Mo and the daring warrior Yuko, fight to stop her. And thanks to her unique ability to communicate with unicorns, Mia must personally safeguard the golden-horned Onchao.
      As Mia bounces between trying to fit in at her new school and her life as a fairytale elf, she becomes the key to saving Centopia.       “Myo & Ga” is an epic saga of tripped trio composed of 3 animal characters: A brave but gullible Turtle named Ga who was sent to find a cure for the King. He joins forces with Co, a noble Chicken and Myo, a fugitive kung-fu rabbit. United in their quest, but easily distracted, this trio will get into trouble again and again. The animation is full of adventure, with fancy 3D effects bringing our heroes to live.
